Eligibility for membership:

Any interested individuals in the healthcare industry who are committed to the promotion of quality healthcare throughout the State of Kentucky and who serve in professions dedicated to that purpose. Members include professionals serving in general medicine, acute care, managed care, long-term care, home health, rehabilitation, mental health, quality consulting and ambulatory clinics. Many of their areas of focus are:

* medical/professional

* medical records
* infection control utilization
* planning/continuity of care
* staff quality management

CPHQ Certification:

The organization provides and promotes activities that assist members to obtain certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Each conference provides updates on current quality topics and gives the attendee credit hours towards the CPHQ designation.

Membership dues of $45 dollars annually (Membership runs for a calendar year), Annual Quality Conference, cost TBD annually
 
Kentucky Association for Healthcare Quality (KAHQ) Conference is on Friday, September 21, at Saint Joseph Office Park in Lexington.  The $100 for the registration for the conference includes membership dues for next year to KAHQ.  That is a $45.00 savings!  That is for new members, as well as existing ones (see linked registration form which can be emailed to Jason P. All sales (membership dues and/or conference) are final.

Dues may be paid in advance at the time of the Annual Educational Conference each year.
