Deborah R. Campbell, RN-BC, MSN, CPHQ, T-CHEST, CCRN alumna Vice President of Quality and Health Professions- Kentucky Hospital Association.
Immediately previous, she acted as the Director of Infection Prevention and Employee Health at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky. She earned her BSN at the University of Louisville and her MSN at Bellarmine University. She was a pediatric ICU nurse and CCRN for over 25 years and director of a large Pediatric ICU. During that time, she served as national faculty for the American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support program. She has also worked as a CNS for a large pediatric cardiology practice and as nurse consultant and nurse faculty for the Children’s Hospital Association’s Quality Transformation Network and the National Pediatric Cardiology Improvement Collaborative. Deb also has 15 years experience as a legal nurse consultant and has co-authored papers on Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infections, pediatric codes and pediatric sepsis collaborative work.She is currently serving on the Steering Committee for the Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes Collaborative.
Mr. Maxik is the Vice President Support Services for CompleteRx Ltd.
He brings over 20 years of hospital operations, management consulting, and healthcare executive experience to the firm. He is a Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
He has managed a broad spectrum of engagements throughout the US in the areas of general operations improvement, pharmacy compliance, patient safety initiatives, and hospital benchmarking.Prior to joining CompleteRx, Mr. Maxik was a Regional Vice President for a pharmacy management firm.
Mr. Maxik's professional experience also includes consulting work for a fortune 50 firm, and experience in hospital administration. He is a member of the Executive Committee for the Kentucky Association for Healthcare Quality.Mr. Maxik has a Masters in Business Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy.
Shirley M. Schilling, MBA, CPHQ Director of Quality and Clinical Effectiveness Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital Norton HealthcareServed as a healthcare quality professional for over 30 years lending her experience in geriatrics, behavioral health, pediatrics, and women’s services. She has been a Certified Healthcare Quality Professional since 1992. She received her Masters in Business Administration with Healthcare focus in 2011 at Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a Certified Fellow, in Quality Improvement since 2018, by Kentucky Hospital Association. She holds a Green Belt, under Norton Healthcare’s Performance Improvement Leadership Program. Shirley has accreditation and certification experience with The Joint Commission, DNV/NIAHO, Surgical Review Committee, American College of Surgeons, American College of Radiology, Society of Patient Safety, Baby Friendly USA, American College of Pathology, National Committee for Quality Assurance, Utilization Review Accreditation Commission, to name a few.
Amanda R. Miller, BSN, RN, CPHQ Quality Improvement Coordinator at CHI Saint Joseph LondonShe has 18 years’ experience dedicated to improving the delivery of safe and quality patient care, with the last 11 years being directly involved in quality improvement in the acute care setting. She received her BSN from the University of the Cumberlands. She is Certified Fellow in Quality Improvement since 2018 by the Kentucky Hospital Association in partnership with CMS, and a Certified Healthcare Quality Professional since 2020. In addition to being the secretary for KAHQ, Amanda is also the Bluegrass Chapter Lead.
